Fall 2009 Kids Cooking Classes
We love cooking with kids and are excited to offer more
kids classes this fall. All budding chefs are invited to
learn hands-on skills that will help them re-invent the
next family dinner. With a focus on nutrition and expanding
kids' palates, we provide a fun, healthy environment that
is sure to get your kids excited about cooking.
Our classes are designed for ages 8-14 and have a maximum of 16 kids in each
class.
Fall 2009 Cooking Class Dates:
Oct. 5 - Nov. 9, 2009: Kids After School Cooking Series
Oct 23 or Oct. 30, 2009: Haunted Gingerbread House Decorating - All ages welcome!
Nov. 23 - 24, 2009: Thanksgiving Mini Kids Camp
Dec. 4 or Dec. 10, 2009: Gingerbread House Decorating - All ages welcome!
Dec. 21 - Dec. 22, 2009: Kids' Holiday Mini Cooking Camp
The After School Cooking Series is every Monday from October 5 to November 9, from 3:30 to 5:00pm. Gingerbread kids' classes are offered
in two one-hour sessions, from 4:00 to 5:00pm or 5:30 to 6:30pm. All ages are welcome. Holiday mini camps are from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
There will be a maximum of 16 kids in each camp.
Get your kids ready to help in the kitchen for the biggest cooking holiday
of the year in our two-day Kids' Thanksgiving Mini Cooking Camp. On Day One
they will whip up the holiday's classic fare, and Day Two will lead them on a
culinary tour of Paris. They'll come home with simple fall recipes with a
French twist.

Day Two - American in Paris Holiday Dinner

- Pear Salad with Shallot Vinaigrette
- Individual Apple Puff Pastry Tarts with Cr¸me Fraiche
Start the holiday break off with our two-day Kids' Holiday Mini Cooking
Camp. This multi-cultural course starts with a day of cooking up some
Christmas classics. On Day Two, they will learn to make the perfect latkes
in honor of Hannukah.

- Tuition is non-refundable -- check your dates carefully before registering!
- If child is removed from camp for disregarding safety kitchen rules as set forth by Simple Gourmet staff, there will be no refund.
- Please inform us if your child has any serious food allergies - we may refuse registration based on allergy safety risks.
