All about Knives - Let’s Chop!
$60 per person
Class Style - HANDS ON
Limit - 14 people
If you have not taken this class yet, it is a must!! You will learn everything you want to know about the most important kitchen "tool". We will talk about the various types and brands of knives and their use, which ones you should own, and how to care for them. Then we will get to chopping... learning the basic cutting techniques will change your life in the kitchen.
This class is hands on! Please bring your chef knife (largest knife in your block) and your paring knife (smallest knife in your block). I recommend you wrap your knives in a kitchen towel when transporting them. If you do not own knives, I have knives you can use in class. Come to class 15 minutes early if your knives need to be sharpened!

Ages 8 - 12
Kids love to experiment with measuring, pouring and mixing. Cooking is not only a great learning experience but a whole lot of fun! Cooking develops math, organizational and problem solving skills, in addition to promoting team work and self-esteem. The goal of our Simple Gourmet Kids Chefs is to enrich their palettes, encourage smart nutritional choices and teach cooking essentials which they will use throughout their lives.
Classes will be 100% hands on and last about 2 hours in length.
Please make sure your child comes to class with closed toe shoes and long hair pulled back.
